Welcome to the Wayne State University Nurse Anesthesia program. The program of Nurse Anesthesia is a master's degree program offered to registered professional nurses (RNs) with a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a related science degree. The career of Nurse Anesthesia is very challenging as it activates all three Domains of Learning (Cognitive, Psychomotor and Affective) essential to the delivery of quality and safe anesthesia practice to a culturally and diverse patient population.
