Admission
The following is a list of criteria that must be met before one could apply:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in Michigan.
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing or an appropriate biological science degree.
- An overall honor point average of 3.0 or above with a minimum HPA of 3.0 in all undergraduate sciences.
- Eight undergraduate semester hours of inorganic, organic chemistry and/or biochemistry and four hours of biology or microbiology, taken within the past 10 years.
- A minimum of one year full-time experience in adult SICU, MICU, CCU, within the past 2 years.
- ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support Certification).
- Completion of Graduate School Application.
- Completion of the Graduate Prerequisite Courses, with a grade of "A" or "B".

Physiologic Anatomy PSL 555
Graduate Statistics EER 763 or Biostatistics CM 601 - GRE Examination (General Graduate Record Exam).
- Personal interview scheduled with the Admissions Committee.
