Admission Requirements
- Minimum of 2.50 overall GPA & 2.50 GPA in the sciences
- All pre-professional coursework must be completed with a grade of "C" or better
- Admission to Wayne State University
- All pre-requisite and University General Education coursework must be completed by the beginning of the professional program. All Science coursework must be completed by May of the year of application. All non-science coursework must be completed by August
- Pre-professional coursework taken at an accredited college or university is acceptable
- BIO 1500 Basic Biology
- BIO 1510 Basic Life Mechanism
- BIO 2200 Microbiology
- BIO 2870 Anatomy & Physiology - required of students applying for Fall 2009 or later
- CHM 1020 General Chemistry I
- CHM 1030 General Chemistry II
- MAT 1800 Elementary Functions
*Science requirements must be taken within the last 6 years
- ENG 1020 Basic Composition (BC)
