Community Living after Spinal Cord Injury: Models and Outcomes
The goal is to extend basic knowledge oflonger term spinal cord injury outcomes by evaluating competingsocial-ecological hypotheses about community (both desired forms ofcommunity and modes of valued participation) by comparing adultCaucasian and African Americans (n=160) with spinal cord injury acrossa range of age of onset and duration beyond 5 years post injury.
