Mission, Goals and Visions Statement

MISSION

Our mission is to prepare graduates to be competent in the art and science of radiography. Our ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of cost effective health care for all persons. We strive to instill in the graduates that patients come first by providing each patient the quality of care and comfort in a multicultural environment that we want for our families and ourselves.

GOALS

Fulfillment of the program’s mission is assessed by the degree to which the program achieves the following goals:

1. The student/graduate will demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills in the clinical arena.

2. The student/graduate will demonstrate clinical competence, producing images of diagnostic quality and enhancing the delivery of health care to the community.

3. The graduate will be able to demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.

4. The student/graduate will exhibit professionalism.

VISION

We strive to provide an educational environment that promotes student success by establishing policies and procedures that protect the educational opportunities and privileges of the students. This includes providing services and resources that are sufficient to support the mission.

We strive to provide employers with graduates that will perform effectively. This includes providing age specific care and culturally appropriate quality patient care, and demonstrating exceptional work habits through dedication and responsibility to patients, co-workers and employers.
